Alcohol Free Christmas Spiced Gin and Cranberry

Spiced Syrup Ingredients

  • 2 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 70g light brown sugar
  • Zest of ½ orange
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 170g caster sugar
  • 125ml water

Mocktail Ingredients

  • 60ml Gordon's Alcohol Free Gin
  • 35ml orange juice
  • 2 tsp spiced syrup
  • 1 egg white beaten
  • 35ml cranberry juice
  • Ice

Method

  1. To make the syrup bring all the ingredients to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes and allow to cool before using.
  2. To mix the cocktail add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with a good handful of ice and shake for 30 seconds.
  3. Strain the cocktail into a coupe glass.
  4. Sprinkle over a touch of nutmeg and add a slice of orange peel.

Festive Alcohol Free Mulled Caramel Cider

Mulled Alcohol Free Cider

  • 1 Litre Alcohol Free Cider
  • Peel of 1 orange sliced
  • 6 cloves
  • 6 cardamom pods
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 6 allspice berries
  • 2 bay leaves

Caramel Syrup Ingredients

  • 200g caster sugar
  • 200g water
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method

  1. To make the caramel syrup add half the water to te sugar and bring to the boil in a small heavy bottom pan. Do not stir otherwise your sugar will crystallize. Cook until the sugar turns to a golden caramel similar to golden syrup, carefully add the remaining water and vanilla essence, and pour into a glass jar to cool.
  2. To make the mulled Cider bring all the ingredients to the boil and infuse on a low heat or slow cooker for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Whisk in 100g butter before serving.
  4. Pour into your chosen glass mug.
  5. Add a cinnamon stick to garnish.
  6. Add a good drizzle of the caramel syrup.
  7. Dust with ground nutmeg.

Blackberry & Rosemary Nozeco

 

Blackberry Syrup Ingredients

  • 100g blackberries
  • 100g sugar
  • 150g water
  • 3 needles of rosemary

Method

  1. To make the syrup bring all the ingredients to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Pass through a fine sieve and allow to cool before using.
  2. Pour 40ml of syrup in a champagne/prosecco flute.
  3. Top up with chilled Nozeco.
  4. Garnish with a small sprig of rosemary and a couple of frozen blackberries.

Alcohol Free Gingerbread Espresso Martini

Spiced Syrup Ingredients

  • 200g caster sugar
  • 150ml water
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 coffee beans

Mocktail Ingredients

  • 60ml cooled espresso coffee
  • 100ml non-alcoholic vodka
  • 1 tbsp spiced syrup
  • Ice
  • 3 coffee beans

Method

  1. To make the syrup bring all the ingredients to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes sieve and allow to cool before using.
  2. To mix the cocktail add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with a good handful of ice and shake for 30 seconds.
  3. Strain the cocktail into a coupe glass.
  4. Add 3 coffee beans to garnish.
